Why LiteOn switch the letter index of combo models?

I know LTC, but now it SOHC
any suggestion?

Because it is a partnership with Sony. Or maybe Sony is just plain taking over Lite-On.

I'm sure it's not true, LOL.

However, even the LTR-52327S from what I have heard has refrences to Sony in it, and that one is an only Lite-On model number scheme.

In that case I'll just wait for the DOHC (Double Over Head Cam) version to come out, it should be alot faster.

That's probably because it has a Sony pick-up head.
