What do you guys think of my new avatar and sig? Better, worse? I decided to get rid of the same old look.

I did comment on it a little bit in the last paragraph of this post:

http://www.cdrlabs.com/phpBB/viewtopic. ... 9627#89627

I guess the only other thing I would add is that, while I can't remember what the regulations are for avatar size, your new one seems like it might be a little too tall. Can you shrink it a bit?

I like the signature fine, but in my opinion, the avatar's just too big.

Aviationwiz, The image itself is very colorful, I like it. But it's size is currently 140x270 pixels, and this is after you reduced the size? One thing to keep in mind is that users with older computers may have monitors with lower resolutions. Your avatar might appear HUGE to them. According to the profile page, maximum avatar size is 80x80 pixels, but this may be more of a guideline...

As for your signature, it looks fine. But then, I didn't have a problem with your old one. :)

BTW, a belated congrats on 2000 posts!
I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure...

Aviationwiz,

By any chance is it pic of yours taken while attending a springbok cricket/rugby match?
Stone walls do not a prison make,
Nor iron bars a cage;
Minds innocent and quiet take
That for an hermitage;
If I have freedom in my love,
And in my soul am free,
Angels alone that soar above
Enjoy such liberty. - Richard Lovelace

Actually, no. I just did some searches for possible South African related Avatars and I found this.

I noticed it in another thread. Very nice, except I thought the crown was a coffee ring when I first saw it. :-?

Maybe a stupid question to some, but how does one get an avatar below ones name? I know that under the profile it says to enter the URL to the location containing the avatar you want to use. I tried it the other day and it did not work. Any suggestions?

Aviationwiz, I like this one better than the last.
