Best CD-R's for HD-BURN?

Hi all, just getting ready to order an Optorite DD0401 burner (the new 8x DVD+/-R/RW drive, $153 @ newegg), and was wondering: what's is the best type of CD-R's for HD-BURN? TY? Ritek? Something else? I'll be ordering blanks from meritline most likely...although I'd probably end up getting some locally (Maxell=Ritek, right?)...

I wish Fuji still used TY. Only one local store still has the "Made In Japan" discs...

My local BestBuy still has the TY Fujis, but OfficeMax seems to have only the Prodisc ones.

PCClub has pack of 25 DVD-R cake shape with orange face for $19.99 and Nero CD DVD Speed recognize them as RitekGO4. I have burnt so far half dozen and find them to be excellent.

I have the DD0203 and I have had not problems burning HD-Burn CDs using TDK 52X media made by Ritek. I got a 30 pack from staples for about $9 on sale.

HD-Burn from what I read on different forums works with just about everything now except CMC made disk CD-R and there is no support for CD-RW to my knowlege. So just stay away from store brand media and Imation, Hi-Val, K-Hypermicro, and that bunch and you should be good. Might want to stay away from Memorex aswell.
