Very good! The crown on top is indeed a little hard to see though.

ruderacer wrote:Maybe a stupid question to some, but how does one get an avatar below ones name? I know that under the profile it says to enter the URL to the location containing the avatar you want to use. I tried it the other day and it did not work. Any suggestions?

Entering the URL in the profile worked for me. After entering the URL and hitting "Submit", I went back into my profile and the avatar image showed up under the heading "Current Image".

Note: The image must be hosted on the web somewhere, not just on your local machine. (Unless, of course, you're running a web server on your local machine.)

For example, if you entered "http://pics.ebaystatic.com/aw/pics/homepage/v2/logo_171x102.gif" as your avatar's URL, it would give you the eBay logo as your avatar. It would be kind of big though, almost as big as aviationwiz' avatar! :)

Maybe you should give it another try, it sounds like you were doing it correctly.
I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure...

What say ye now?

sorry.
i like the dolphin, but not the crown.

my suggestion: do not have the dolphin "wearing" the crown, but have it "under" him. it can be a bigger image of a crown then and more elaborate and stylized (making the "regal" theme more obvious)
just my suggestion.

It's not a bad idea, but I think I've put enough on my poor graphic designer's plate for the moment... maybe once he has finished me new webpage, and business cards I will pester him over that.

I agree.
Very nice dolphinius!

I am still using my standard cdrlabs avatar, but I have actually gotten used to it, and don't mind it much.

South African Airways announces another world first. Begining February 9th 2004, SAA will offer flights non-stop from Johannesburg to New York.

c'mon what bull.
obviously SAA will be the only airline to fly Johannesburg - New York.
hey, El Al flies Tel Aviv - NY without stops and is the only airline to do so without stops. so what?
most likely KLM is the only airline to fly Amsterdam - NY without stops
etc. etc. etc. etc. etc.

This will also be the longest non-stop flight in the history of the world (I think.) Longest now is Atlanta to Johannesburg, but I think Johannesburg to New York might take it in terms of time due to winds and all that, I'm not a meteorologist, so I don't know what it's all called.
