BB Fuji deal

Postby rmdir on Sun Dec 21, 2003 3:07 pm

I was just checking the online weekly sales, and they are showing 100 Fuji (2 x 50) for 10 bucks after rebate. I'll swing by and see if they are made in Japan or not.
Does anyone have any experience with the Taiwan ones...are they worse than the Japanese made discs, or about the same?

The Prodisc (Taiwan) ones aren't bad. However, they're not as good as the TY's IMO.

After using both the Fuji and the Prodisc, I'd say the same thing.

The one I went to (Skokie IL) only has 100 packs of Taiwanese discs, in spite of an ad that clearly shows a 2 x 50 configuration.

Those 100 packs(2 x 50) sell out pretty quick since they are really popular.

I've never seen the 2X50's at my Best Buys since early this year. Every 100 pack has been the Prodisc CD's.

My Bestbuy was full of Taiwanese made Fuji's for the 100 packs.

However, they had a lot of Made in Japan 50-pack Fuji's. I can't wait until those go on sale. :D

It seems like Best Buy has a sale on the 50 packs every 2 or 3 weeks now :)

Has anyone seen any 100 pack that is made in japan anymore? I only see 50 pack japan in best buy these days (plus the 100s that is 2 x 50 pack in officemax).

I don't think that there were ever Fuji 100-packs that were made in Japan except for the bundles of two 50-packs.

There were Memorex/TY 100 packs, that I know for sure. I think I may have seen a picture of a Fuji/TY 100 pack as well.

That's true; I actually have one of the Memorex/TY 100 packs from a year or two back.
