I was hoping to be able to toss Santa all the way into the other canyon to the right of Rudolph. I thought maybe something special would happen if I tossed him that far. But I don't think I will be able to. :(

i played a little too much.. but it seems around 180 is where Santa has to land to make it to the high 350

I tried it out and after some practice, I got to 350.4 and I could not go beyond this. I guess this is the highest you can get to. It was a lot of fun.

Ditto, 350.4 for me as well. I think that is why Rudolph is sitting there, he marks the farthest distance reached by anyone.

If I push Santa any further, he falls off the edge.

Another variant is how short a throw you can make and still get Santa across the first canyon. Here's my best:
