Espresso lovers let me know what kinda machine you got & what coffee/grind you use 8)

Just purchased the apple red StarbucksBarista (Italian made Saeco machine) & some Italian vacuumed & whole beans Lavazza & Illy coffee ... me no sleep no more :o :P

... oh and also purchased a Barista (swiss made) burr coffee grinder... a must! :wink:

Holy smack. You got the elite stuff! We just got a small piddly unit to try out before we took the dive and went for a bigger more expensive unit.

I know fresh ground is best, but what's your opinion of pods? Decent flavor?

didn't try pods yet... pple say it's clean but no real "gusto" ... I may get some from Illy (check their wsite!), together with the alu tamper...

I heard the same about the pods...no balls to it. I've heard really good things about Illy.

Damn! That looks like an awesome deal! Dontcha think they got killer looking machines?

...the $450 machine comes out free !... the designer cup set itself goes for $200 ! ... I'd just go for the $66 coffee every other month which comes out as a $1.20/month deal... about what I'd spend on coffee anyways (if not more) :wink:
