Nero version 6

Postby skhyatt on Thu Jan 15, 2004 4:54 pm

I am currently trying out the newest version of Nero. How many people using it and happy with it or otherwise? Any feedback greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Nero 6 with Recode 2 is fantastic.

I like it when it works. All too often, it freezes at 99% or 98%.
Several others have reported the same problem. 5.x has never done it before.

Still has a few kinks that need worked out. I've tried all of the 6.x's, too. From the very first to the very latest. Same deal. It's no big deal with a CD, but the DVD's where getting a bit too costly.

I had issues with every version except the most recent. 6.3.0.2 seems to be running OK with no major issues.

QUESTION! Can nero 6 burn a copy of a dvd with video capture files from a computer. Also does it have a clip edit feature or all or nothing. We are looking at buying 10 of these for the DVD/CD copy feature and wonder if it can edit videos also.We are doing "screen scrape" and recording to a HD and then a DVD.
Thanks in advance for any help!

To ensure the right answers to your questions before buying 10 copyies, go to the Nero.com site and download the latest version of Nero Burning Rom, install it and try it for yourself as a demo. You can then draw your own conclusion whether this software satisfaies your need or not.

Nero 6.0.0.11 worked great for me. A few updates after this had issues, but they've been resolved with the latest Nero 6.3.0.2 and had worked great for me.
