Penguin bashing

Postby MediumRare on Tue Jan 27, 2004 6:57 pm

It's been a while since one of these made the rounds. Have a look at this for "hardened penguins": http://n.ethz.ch/student/mkos/pinguin.swf Maybe it's used for batting practice in Seattle ?

My best score (15 min. trying) is a bit over 320, but it does go higher.

My best shot was 320.9. Had another of 320.2. I will say, I think I mastered the 195-205 foot shot. 8)

323.5 after trying for about 8 minutes.

And then 322.9 after trying to beat 323.5 for 10 minutes :)

Yeah, I thought about that too. On the other hand, the penguins seem to enjoy it. And if you look at the batter as B.Gates, you can't really complain about a flattering representation.

I have perfected the 206.7 jump.I tried very hard to break 323.5 and was trying for almost 20 minutes, but got to only 318.2.
And MediumRare,I doubt whether BurninMan921 has read this post.
I am sure he would have replied.
And can somebody modify the batter to look like Mr.Gates?

See ya guys later,

This is apparently part of a lively cottage industry: see http://yeti.e-medien.com. There's a download version there too which tracks the high score.

actually it's not.
the distance of 2+3i = sqrt(13) = 3.60555 (roughly).

And here I thought this was a Linux-bashing thread! I woulda been mad then! :)

So long as it's not Tux...

I can't open that right now...Firefox zapped Firebird nicely. Buggy installer, buggy browser. I love Firebird, but Firefox sucks big time so far.
