I've done internet searches and and still don't have a handle on this.... I want to buy a power conditioner, not for my computer, but for my audio equipment. You can buy wonderful audio/audiophile conditioners/noise suppressors dedicated to audio equipment, but I'm not interested in spending the big bucks; I am not much of an audiophile. I have an old Tripp Lite conditioner that worked well, but died (not the fuse, just died). So I'm looking at replacements and the noise suppresion spec is wildly different between them. So, since I'm going to buy one of these, I'd like to get the one with the relatively best noise suppression:
The smaller with lesser watt capacity of 600 watts: EMI / RFI AC noise suppression: 20 dB

The larger with greater watt capacity of 1800 watts: EMI / RFI AC noise suppression: 80 dB

You'd think the more expensive one would offer better noise suppression, but I just don't know. There's a pretty big price difference, but this will last for years and years and I'm willing to spend the dough if it is the larger one. Can anyone offer an informed opinion as to which of these two units has the better noise suppression spec?
