Questions about LG's 8525B CD-RW model

Postby semit82 on Fri Feb 20, 2004 7:54 am

Does anyone has it?
how is it? (performance, overburn, etc...)

and also does anyone has the model without the headphone socket
and the volume control??
because where i live, they are the only ones being sold (of the 8525B)

I own this drive for 2 months now. The performance is OK, the only issue is that it does not recognize my 800MB 90min TDK CD w's. And that firmware flasher is a little bit tricky: just start it and WAIT, the flasger will start automatically. (and unistall directcd, INCD, Intels Application Accellerator etc)

My drive is without the headphone socket and the volume control.

Finally got a great deal on a TDK which works great.

I have 2 other LG drivres but after this I would never buy LG again.
