Really annoying POP-UP !!!

hmm...interesting...what do you mean by "the flow of the board" ?

i specifically sought out this particular topic, since i remembered it, and my issue had to do with popups, so i thought it rather proper that i use the existing topic rather than start a new one.
is it preferable in sucha situation to start a new topic in your opinion?

Well I think you're right on this peticular case. I was more or less referring to when people resurrect a thread with a response that really has nothing to do with the thread itself like asking another off topic question on the same thread.

I just want to say that I SERIOUSLY hate that stupid balloon banner that floats across the screen EVERY BLOODY TIME I CLICK A LINK!

actually, it didn't USE to be that bad, it would pop up every once and a while, and I would close it and forget it, but now the stupid thing is showing up all the time. I want to support the site and all, but it's causing me a lot of annoyance! :evil:

Try enabling cookies. It's only supposed to show up once every 24 hours.

My cookies were enabled, but just in case I set IE (version 6.0) to accept any cookies sent from CDRlabs.com, my security settings are set to medium.

browsing this site is becoming VERY difficult....

never mind, I just set zone alarm to block it completely. I'm sorry Ian, I want to support the site, but I can't continue visiting the site while that stupid floating pop up keeps getting in my way every time I load a page!
