I would assume any burning software would do a good job.
If it's DVD-R to DVD-R, it's just data. Don't need DVDXCopy for that.
I don't know too many applications that don't make an exact copy... unless you're trying to copy something that's protected.
If you're trying to copy something that's protected, don't bother asking further.
