Replacing CPU in Dell Dimension 4300

Postby aviationwiz on Thu Jul 24, 2003 5:34 pm

I'm looking at replacing the CPU in my Dell Dimension 4300. If I'm correct, I should be able to put in up to a 2.6A P4 CPU. This sound right?

Also, I should be able to put in DDR/266 DDR RAM, right?

It uses an Intel 845 chipset.
