I wonder if Ritek is still making them? if so, it shows just how little effort they're putting into their own DVD+R9 media! :o
Punch Cards -> Paper Tape -> Tape Drive -> 8" Floppy Diskette -> 5 1/4" Floppy Diskette -> 3 1/2" "Flippy" Diskette -> CD-R -> DVD±R -> BD-R

LG doesn't support crap dvd+r dl media, so it can't be made by ritek muhaha!

Confirmed, Ritek *IS* making Ricoh's DVD+R9 media.... or at least some of it, but probably all of it.

I thought they went their separate ways with DL? This is starting to sound like a soap opera. So what's the story here?

No idea what the story is, but according to Ritek, they're making the Ricoh dual layer discs on the market.

I'm not sure if I'm surprised or not.... yes, they have the past of working together, but the quality difference is HUGE!!
