does the samsung sw-252b works in a computer with a pentium 2 mmx 333 and windows 98 second edition?

No reason why it shouldn't. Just to be sure, check the specs of the drive at www.samsungodd.com

Will it write at 52x though? Not sure, as HD speed, used IDE mode and a few other issues might cause slowdowns. But I don't see a reason why it wouldn't work at some speeds.
