Sony CRX215 Installation problems

Hi all

I've managed to lose my installation CD for my Sony CRX215E1 writer, and have had to format my machine, damn windows!

I cant get the writer to detect in any burn software :cry:

can anyone help???

Update your "burn software"

I dont have the original CD with the burn software or the Aspi Drivers, nor is the original software installed, I had to format my machine.

Windows Device manager detects that its a sony CDRW, but any Burning Software I Download cant detect the drive, even the latest Adaptec software

????

Adaptec Easy CD Platinum couldnt detect it, nor could a cheap freeware program called CDR Front End or something

Try Nero!

maybe you need an updater for new drives - look at the news section of today.

Installed the update, then nero, and voila we have 40x burning
