Sony DW-Q120A DVD drives

Postby skipr on Thu Dec 28, 2006 9:22 pm

The reviews and forums on this site are a big help. I'm curious, however, why I can't find any reviews or even mention of the Sony DW-Q120A drives and their predecessor models.

This 120 was a rebadge of a Liteon.

The newer ones are made by NEC Sony Optiarc. If u have questions about this drives ask in forum and check the writing-quality-section, it could help u :)

The DW-Q120A is one of Sony's bulk/OEM drives. You probably won't find too many reviews of these.

Isn´t it a Liteon-rebadge?

Yup, its a rebadged Lite-On SHW-160P6S. Sony sells them to the OEM market though.
