Burn baby burn!

Sorry bout the Noob question!

Postby Neilfenstein on Tue Apr 06, 2004 8:46 am

Hello,

I have a Lite on LTR-52327S! I have not used it much but there seems to be some sort of problem. I am using nero6 and when I try to write a disc it spins up and slows and spins up and slows etc then fails to write!

I am wondering if this is evidence that it is broken!?! When I use VCDEasy it says that there is a force operation involved and this sometimes results in a CD being written.
Would it help if i tried writting at a lower speed? I have used smartburn and it says that I can burn at 52.

Many thanks for your help in advance.

I'd try some different media first. Could be you received a bad batch.

You can also try reinstalling the burning program... whichever one you are using or you can try using a different program.

You can also try rejumpering the drive and putting it on a difference IDE channel.

Also be sure to verify that the drive has DMA enabled.
