click on the little X in the upper right corner. It will close.

Annoying? Yes. A small price to pay to be able to use this site for free? ABSOLUTELY!! They have got to pay the bills somehow. At least they got rid of that really annoying "Hey over here" one that used to pop-up. :lol:
