Toshiba 1712 availability

Anyone know where i might be able to find one still? My dvd drive is the last part of my system to be replaced, better do it while i can find what i want...

Not sure yet. I have an email request in with Good Deal PC to verify the model #. I've found at least 3 or 4 sites saying they have the 1712, but when I email to double check, turns out it's the 1802. boo! :x

I don't see why you don't want the 1802... Soon enough it'll be fully hacked too.

From what I've been reading, they're not as fast... This could easily be wrong, though.
