I did the HDDVD BOGO deal at BB this morning. Unfortunately my local store was out of Transformers so I got Bourne Ultimatum, The Departed, The latest Harry Potter, and 300. Still like 67 bucks but most of those I think will look stunning in HD or I have it and like it enough to get the hd version. I might try another store later but probably too late by now to get lucky on Transformers.

I'd happily pick up Harry Potter on Blu-Ray if I didn't know that there was going to be a 1-6 boxset, followed by a 1-7 boxset later on. I sold all my Harry Potter DVDs already out of frustrations over this fact. I had originally bought 1-3 on DVD, and then bought #4 later on.... I think it's probably the single worst example of double dipping I've seen from any studio!

Anyways, I'm tempted to pick up Die Hard 1-3 from the Fox Blu-Ray BOGO sale at Amazon.com going on for the next 2 days. There's a couple other items I'd like to get also... including Mr. and Mrs. Smith from the Bestbuy BOGO (which isn't listed on the Amazon.com BOGO! ).

Well the BOGO hd sale is ending today so last day if you want something. My closest store finally got Transformers 2 disk hddvd in so I picked it up and shrek 3 for 29 bucks. Also got the Blade runner hddvd ultimate collection with 5 disks for 34. Just saw it sitting there all by itself, no tag or anything, thought about it a while and decided to get it. Claims to have all the versions and the original work print, almost all of it in hd with dd+ sound.
Transformers was a lot of fun and looked and sounded great.
