Wireless (Cellular) Internet Plans

Postby aviationwiz on Sat Jun 04, 2005 11:23 am

I posted the question to 2 wireless sites, but never got an ample response, so I figured I'd ask my CDRLabs family:

I've got an LG VX6100 from Verizon with Mobile Web 2.0 on it, which I'm happy with now.

I've been looking at some data plans from different carriers and are most interested in the NationalAccess Plan from Verizon ($60 a month) or the T-Mobile Internet Plan from T-Mobile ($30 a month)

How would you say these 2 services compare in speed, reliability, and coverage areas (particularly the state of Minnesota)? Is there anything I'm overlooking from other carriers?

Also, is it possible to hook up my VX6100 to my laptop and connect to the internet that way?

Thanks for the help!
