I want to post scans of Optiarc AD 7173 and LG H22L, but these writers are not in the list.

BTW, why u locked this?

I'll add both drives after dinner.



I locked it because there was no need for it with the General Media Discussion section of the forum.

Want to add some scans from media burned with LiteOn LH-18A1H (should i post in A1p?) and Asus DRW 1612BL, do u add these writers?

I added a thread for the ASUS and modified the one for the LH-18A1P so that its for the 18A1H and 18A1P now.

I'm looking forward to seeing some results for the DRW-1612BL. Do you know what drive design its based on?

Very strange, I saw at CDFreaks that the 1612 used a MTK-chipset.

My first impressions:

Slow writing-strategies
Not good at 16x-writing
Slow DVD-reading
Able to scan

Can u add the LG GH-20N to the list?
Benq DW 1640 and 1650 , Plextor PX-755, Pioneer BDR-208 and 209D, LG GH24NSC0, LG BH16NS40 and 16NS55, Liteon ihas 124F and 324F, Pioneer DVR-215 and S21, Samsung SH-224DB and 224GB, and some more
