Nero has announced a new summer promotion for its customers in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Those that buy Nero 8 at retail or online will also get a free copy of Steganos Safe 2008.
Nero, creators of liquid media technology, announced today that the company’s summer promotion will include copies of Steganos Safe™ 2008 with all new Nero 8 purchases and upgrades both in the retail market and through the Nero Online Shop within the Europe, Middle East, and Africa market.
Steganos Safe™ 2008 provides users solutions to keep personal data safe from unauthorized access. Users can create an unlimited number of secure drives called data safes, each holding up to 256 GB of content. Data safes can be created for laptops, PCs, and USB sticks. In addition, audio and video content can be encrypted before creating a CD or DVD with Nero, thus making personal media files password-protected. Passwords can be generated to encode e-mail in-boxes, and passwords can be created using image sequences instead of words. In addition, users can rely on personal devices such as an iPod® or USB stick as the key instead of a password. A virtual shredder lets users shred unwanted data permanently.
