Roxio sent out a press release this morning, announcing the launch of Creator 2009. This updated version of Roxio's media suite sports a sleek new design and features advanced support for HD video, direct access to Roxio Online and new audio capabilities like Audiobook Creator.

Roxio is also offering an Ultimate version, which includes includes the High-Def/Blu-ray Disc plug-in as well as $300 in extras, for $129.00. The High-Def/Blu-ray Disc plug-in can be purchased separately for $29.99. However, Roxio is offering it for free to customers who purchase Creator 2009 from roxio.com through September 30, 2008.
