Well, I've asked a lot about the "best" CDs here in the past, but I find that I'm not a high-speed user, and so everything I've used has worked well for me. (I won't live long enough to make any archival judgements...

) I decided, based on all the discusions here, that TYs would be the "easiest" to find and buy. So...
I read here somewhere long ago that Fuji discs made in Japan were TYs. So I was looking at different Fuji disc packages (100, 50, 30, 10 quantities). I saw on the container label that the 100 and 50 spindle packages were made in Taiwan. The 30s were made in Japan. (I forget what the 10 said....) A week or two later I'm in FYE music looking at recorded music CDs, and I see these Fuji CD-R Spindle Swirl Colors discs (30 pkg) on sale for $9.99 with a $10 rebate. Label said "Made in Japan". So I bought two packages. I already have a bunch of discs, so I haven't tried them yet.
Am I wrong about this (Fuji discs "Made in Japan" are really TYs)?
