Postby hoxlund on Tue Feb 01, 2005 11:34 pm

also firmware to unlock the rip speed would be great too

unless this drive already has its rip speed unlocked

Use LTNRPC to make it region free, and the Codeguys have increased read speed FW available - codeguys.rpc1.org

LTNRPC.. seriously. Why don't you want to use it? Even KProbe can disable RPC work, IIRC.

What's up with the region free, Hox? Are you outsourcing yourself to Bangalore?

i just like having my drives region free and not having to worry about region programs

its no biggy if i can't get this drive region free, its more important that i get the rip lock removed and i have firmware for that
