Burn baby burn!

Does the Yahmaha t@2 work well?

I'm very intrigued by the Yamaha t@2 system that burns labels onto CD-R's. Does anyone have experience with this? Is it worth the extra cost? Or are you better off buying the cheaper liteon drives?

Wake Up !!!!

Correct me if I'm wrong here, but is it true that Liteon make the fastest CD-RW on the market today, being their 52x24x52x CDRW burner.

Now Plextor and TDK brag on, on how good their burners are, I'm sure they are and dont get me wrong here. But I've found TDK and Plextor to be far over priced, plus isnt TDK made by Liteon or from the same factory in China, and I do know ...

Any News On LG's Or Cendyne's New Combo Drive?

I emailed them once and they said they would be coming out with a 48x24x48x16x combo drive in January but they didn't say when it would be on retail shelves. I am not to sure about the Samusung combo drive since it doesnt have Mt. Rainier. However, the LG combo I would assume would only have a 2mb cache buffer since all of their other drives do. Then their is Cyndene's new combo coming out ...

can you have both Nero & EasyCD creator installed?

I have Easy CD Creator installed on one of my 4 PC's, and am thinking of upgrading the CD-ROM to a CD-RW. Only problem is the new CD-RW would require Nero, while an older CD-RW uses Easy CD Creator.

Is there a major conflict in having 2 CD-RW's with each of the software?

does Archos still suck?

My brother and I had terrible experience with the older Archos Mini-CDRW which were sold at CompUSA & Fry's 2 years ago. We went thru 7 units, and they all failed right away or soon after install. In fact, I have a broken unit in my closet, collecting dust.

We had massive problems with the hardware & software / cables. Did anyone else have those problems? Is it safe to try Archos again?

which would you choose? Pacific Digital or Buslink?

I bought the BB Buslink 52x24x52 for $80, with the $20+15 in rebates available to make it $45.

I also went to OfficeMax, and bought a Pacific Digital Mach48 48x12x48x CD-RW for $20, as a product substitution for an advertised i/o magic 48x12x48 CDRW that was out of stock (which was $20 AFTER rebates).

I installed the PD CDRW tonite and it works great. However, I wonder if the Buslink is a better deal for ...

MS-8348A problems

Two moths ago I have bought MS-8348A for affordable price. In the beginning everything seems to be ok, since15 days ago when my drive failed to cooperate by recognizing any empty media (CD-R). Recreantly I have update Firmware from 120D to 150D, but still nothing. Is there a chance that WIN XP fails to recognize a CD-RW and interpret as CD-ROM?

Help needed please

Cheers
