The reason I ask, is because in CD Speed 1.0, Quality Test and scandisc test reported errors
when I start the test while the disc hasn't spinned up yet.

But when I made sure CD is spinning first before starting the tests, then no errors. :roll:

Yesterday I saved the tracks from a SVCD I had ... this created two files, Track No01.nrg and Track No02.nrg.

My question is how the heck to you burn these back to CD? I can't find support for it anywhere ... the only option being to burn single tracks.

My Memorex 52Maxx 52/24/52 does not seem to work with Nero's overburn test. No matter what sized disk I put in to test, the drive keeps doing a simulated burn and never reports an error, even when the burn is well past the end of a disc. Does anyone have any suggestions, or is this a common problem with Lite-Ons or something?

I was testing and twaeking my drives this weekend with CDSpeed and on my DVDR drive (Pioneer DVR-103) got the following errors:

When trying to write a data test disc in Nero CD speed I get (Error! INVALID FIELD IN PARAMETER LIST (052600)).

When trying to write a DAE test disc in CDSpeed I get (Error Setting Write Mode (code 051A00)).

It won't burn under nero either. It does play DVDs, CDs and CDRs fine ...

I'm running the latest version of Nero (Demo version with Serial #).

If I chose to switch to the OEM CD that came with the Lite On 52x24x52x how do I find the serial # so I can upgrade it? Is the OEM version on the cd only Nero Express? I glanced at the disc, then just put it away in a box.

I don't really need to do it - I'm not going to ...

I'm trying to burn mp3 tracks onto disc, but nero always plaaces them alphabetically. Does anyone know how to get around this?

I just installed IN CD 3.51.61up. I have a tdk 24/10/40B.
When I use IN CD to format a TDK 4x CR-RW, format
completes and announces that the disk is ready to be
used as a floppy.

Then I attempt to copy and paste files to the drive in
Windows explorer I get the error message:


>Error Copying File or Folder<


"Cannot copy xxxx. Files on this CD-Rom drive are read only.
You cannot copy ...

in order for nero not to conflict with xp pro inbuilt burning software
