I've tried everything. DMA is on, ASPI is working correctly, I've uninstalled, cleaned and reinstalled. I've uininstalled NERO, uninstalled every other program that might access the bruning drive, cleaned, reinstalled NERO only and still no dice. I can (if it's installed) burn music CD's just fine with WinAmp and most functions regarding basic storage using Windows XP to drop and burn files work fine - but every thing I try to burn with Nero craps ...

I use my CD/RW as a floppy disc to take my files back and forth from school. I am using InCD to format the disc, and it works fine at home, but when I take it to school, I cannot add new files to the CD. It says that the CD is read-only. Hi all, I have a Nero 5.5 OEM CD I got together with a Samsung CD writer. I would like to buy Nero 6 now, and I've read on nero.com that I can get a discounted 6 Reloaded serial by purchasing a "Nero 6 Reloaded Upgrade Downloadable Serial Number" instead of a full version.

I'd need to know if there are any disadvantages when doing this. The price difference is not much, after all, so ...

I've been using Nero for about 2 months now and I have burned well over 200 movies and I haven't had any problems up until today. It appears that 80% of the movies (dvd files on hard drive) I have tried to burn have failed, and if they have burned successfully it took a lot longer than usual. If I try to burn at 4x the success rate has been higher but at 8x, forget ...

I just went from Nero 5 to the latest oem of Nero 6 and cant figure out how to get plain old Nero to run. When I burn from the express program the program hangs after the burn when I push next or finish. Restarting between burns isn't fun, I need some help.

I think that there is a problem with last version of Ahead Nero Burning Rom 6.6.0.6 and previus versions. The image created with Nero become corrupted, I related it:

How to reproduce the bug (NOT depend on Hardware Devices):

1º Choose "Image Recorder" as actual Burner.
2º Select new CD-ROM ISO compilation (is posible that the problem persit in other compilation type).
3º In ISO Page pick "Mode 1"as Data Mode.

I see atleast 3 different versions on pricegrabber.
What do I get when I buy Suite 1 vs. Suite 2 vs. Suite 3?

I understand that these generic OEM versions are not LOCKED to a specific drive.

Just upgraded to Nero6.6.06 - right now my DVDCopy, by estimation, will be running at 5hrs (used to be 20 minutes). excessive CPU usage at 100% - can anyone help with this problem?
