ok im gonna reinstall windows. I was just playing around with it. and it asked me if i wanted to create or delete a partition. so i put create. and it says minimum 8MB and maximum 2408. i dunno if the maximum is correct but it said something like that?
whats the differnce between 8mb and a 2408

I just recorded a Verbatim MusicLifePlus in DAO mode with 4x speed. everything is normal till i tryed to read the disc - in my technics cd player it is readable but in cd-rw isn's. Before burning i configures WinOnCD to close the disk but after burning the software tells me that the CD is still open. I closed the disk but after that i cant read it anymore anywhere... The question is: Are CD-Rs ...

I was just at bestbuy.com checking out the cd burners. They have the Samsung SW-248B 48x16x48 for $89.99 plus a $20 rebate. I know, I know that's not a hot deal. We used to carry that drive at Wal*mart for $79.99. yeah... That's still not a hot deal.

Anyway, now we carry the Samsung SW-248F 48x24x48 for $59.99. Now that's a pretty good price for retail, but umm, the SW-248F is a better drive and ...

Hi there. I have this "old" but good CD-RW, an LG GCE-8160b (16x-10x-40x) and I've had a little problem with my burnt CD-Rs for the first time ever with it.

I was using 24x certified Verbatim media (metal-azo, dark blue) until recently, and all CD-Rs I burnt with it (usually written at 8-12x) were read without a hitch on any drive or standalone DVD, especifically s/vcd-cds. Now I've purchased a 25-spindle of 40x Verbatim media ...

Well thanks for the help u all gave me now that i have setteled down for a good writer i have another prob hope u all dont mind the thing is that i opened my pc case the other day to find out the adequate wired for my writer i found that one wire i.e an audio cable is attached to my sound card to my cd rom as i wanna keep my cd rom ...
