I like the idea. The page could also list if it is automatic or user selectable. Also if it is supported with the OEM firmware or if a alternate/hacked firmware with bitsetting support is available.

I have a Panasonic e80h settop dvd recorder with a hard drive. It will not play any plus without bitsetting it, pretty annoying but it is one of their first HD equiped settops and they were trying to only support minus and ram at that time :(
All of my other players dont care as long as the disk is good. Yes I have multiple players and burners too, but most of the geeks here do I'd think :wink:

come to think of it...my polaroid 7 inch portable does not like +r....but bitset it does...go figure
