How do i strip/rip an Audio DVD ?

Postby xboxnoob on Thu Jan 29, 2004 10:13 pm

Anyone got the idea of how to strip the audio from a Audio dvd ?
all the audio is actually in the Audio_ts folder it's not empty longer .)

But all rippers out there - only care for the movie/audio files in Video_ts

Just found this: DVD Audio Ripper www.imtoo.com
Not freeware, but works great and is quick.
Another way would be to rip the DVD with Smartripper, change audio to 2 channel AC3 and then use Head3ache to convert the audio file to WAVor MP3.
Check out the digital digest forums for more detailed info.

"DVD Audio Ripper" is for DVD-Video discs not DVD-Audio,DVD-Video uses CSS encryption and DVD-Audio uses CSS2 encryption.
