I am using this drive on a DFI LanParty UT NF3 250GB without an issue. I got brave today and loaded the NV 2.7 SW-IDE drivers and have not had an issue with this drive working together with a PIO A08 / Asus E616P2 tonight.

same basic setup as me

also how in the hell do you get a raid setup to work with the ultra 3 chipset?

my nvidia raid chip sees it and i set it up as striping in the raid bios

but in windows how do you make it see the drive?

I am not using raid (have not seen any real benefits over the years, desktop pcs) but this is a good article-

no i don't want to use raid on my windows setup, that would be 500GB just for windows, and i format too often for that to work

windows is on its own seperate 80gb SATA drive

im just having a problem with windows seeing my raid setup, in the raid bios its all ok, in nvidia's raid manager program that says its all set too

edit... got it working, just had to run partition magic and create the drive
