nu dual firmware is out

DVD-R/W, DVD+R/RW, DVD-RAM

B370 is out

DDW-081(2)/HDW-081(2): B364 to B370. change history
Engine changes:
1. Add DDW082 DVD-R 6x/8x supports.
2. Solve MyDVD write DVD+RW issue.
3. Fix Record Now write DVD-R issue.
4. Add DVD+R

You're guess is as good as mine about the "DVD-R 6x/8x supports"

For those interested in DVD9 Dual Layer, DDW-082 will support this feature when it comes out. DDW-081 will not.

Why do you call the DDW-081 "DDW-082" then after the firmware-update? this is very confusing :-? - i also thought both drives are physicaly the same.

What's the difference then?

I have burnt 4X Princo DVD-R and it played OK in my Nu and LG DVD-Rom. I guess my drive is one of those 60% then.

I doubt that anyone from NU will tell u. Either it is a secret or there is no difference at all. Sorry, no offense, but i think priority of NU is to sell the new product (DDW-082) as well.

We will get a merchandise area on the new nu europe website when its completed, but sofar the only shirts we had was one time promo only... so ull need to wait :-?
