Faster recordable Blu-ray Disc media is finally on it way. TDK sent me a few pieces of their 4x BD-R media. The discs have a MID of "TDKBLDRBB" and are manufactured in Japan. Best of all, the GGW-H20L will write to them at 6x.
:(
No problem creating, with audio, and burning slide show on DVDs(-R). Problem starts while viewing show on TV. Randomly, a slide will pause (1-2 sec), audio turns off... and then continue playing. Burnt abt 9-10 dics, each having the same problem.
I know that MIJ Sonys are TY/Sony, but I just saw Made in Singapore Sonys at my local Frys. Anybody has any experience with these? On par with Verbatim?
They don't have them in stock yet, but at least we know the pricing is ~$10 a disc. Absolutely brutal price for a media type that we don't have any drives that can record to it, or any idea of how many drives will be able to read it back though.
I recently received some media from a company called Morgan Media Holdings (http://meganmedia.com.my) in Malaysia. The company is primarily an OEM supplier but they also sell their discs under the brand "Memory".
I received the discs a couple of weeks ago and while the manufacturing isn't up to say Verbatim, they're definitely on par with some of the Taiwanese manufacturers ...
My fellow burners,
I'am needing a little enlighting here.Which is actually better for use?The DVDx8 or DVDx16?The reason for me asking is that I don't know what the difference is between them.
All that I know is that the DVD+R (Verbatim)that I have right now are x16.
Do,the 8x record better?
