Etp/ripit/Slim;

The prospects for having mod f/w look deemed, I don't see any response from "Liggy, Dee, Quikee2 or any one else. I am still parity much satisfied with drive as a good and speedier ripper and good quality of DVD burning even though in slow speed process, not to mention top quality of CD burner. Let's keep the light on.

They modified it for us to flash the Micro to an AOPEN. The link is dead. There were at least 4 of us that used it.

Thanks

My new system will not allow me to ctrl/alt "C"/ctrl "V" to copy an image to paint.

Has microsoft made this a security feature?

Can't save dvd speed check as a HTML that has anything in it.

Use Alt+PrintScreen to capture the active window, Ctrl+V to paste. The XP version of paint can save .PNG's.

Still having problems with cd/dvd speed in nero. I don't know if its the new box or the new nero update. Get a 94% at 4x cpu and na at 8x and then the nero display loses all its data.

etp; Have you tried to burn any DVD Video using either Fuji or Maxell DVD-R (8X) to verify that new f/w 1616(AOpen) will burn that at 16X or even 12X?.

etp, the purpose of 1616 is to upgrade the DVD-R from 8X burning speed for 1608 to 16X in 1616. So we have to find out if this new mod f/w can convert the 1608 DVD-R (8X) to 16X or not.

The qestion was wether etp has made any burning himself using newly modified 1608 which is now 1616 to experience the 8X of buring for DVD-R is now being performed at 16X or not, since even with the new modded f/w the drive is not capable to burn the DVD-R (8X) at 16X I haven't tried it with any 16X DVD-R disc myself.

TCAS! I will do some tests! I promiss!

The 3530 was free with my new Dell 8400, so that was a bonus. The Micro was a steel at $39 if it worked, and boy did it ever. I use it as my BU drive in my backup 8400. Plus the software was perfect with the Micro.
If I had to buy one I would consider the 109 at $57 and NU even cheaper. Just because I don't have those. Plus I am a closet PIO fan.

PS/ Playing with my new Wal-mart hp 1315 for $74. Wow!
At these prices we can afford new toys all the time. LOL =D> :lol:
