Greenliant has started volume production of its industrial temperature (-40°C to +85°C) 2 Terabyte NVMe and SATA M.2 ArmourDrive solid state drive (SSD) modules. Built in the 2280 form factor, and offered with hardware encryption and on-board DRAM, these high-performance SSDs save space, improve security and increase capacity for a wide variety of applications, including video conferencing, in-flight entertainment and data logging.
CDRLabs has put together a brief review of SecureData's SecureUSB KP encrypted flash drive. The SecureUSB KP features a FIPS validated design with military-grade AES 256-bit XTS encryption. To access their data, users simply enter their PIN on the keypad and plug it into any device with a USB port. The drive is also equipped with a rugged, extruded aluminum casing that protects it against dust, water and physical damage as well as a USB 3.0 interface capable of delivering up to 152 MB/s read and 118 MB/s write speeds.
