Sony Europe Introduces Ultra-Compact External SSD Drives
With the launch of the SL-BG1 and SL-BG2, Sony introduces a fast and safe, external storage space expansion for your mobile office – all in a pocket-friendly size. The SL-BG2 packs 256GB, whilst the SL-BG1 has 128GB of storage space, enough capacity especially for ultrabook users to save all important documents.
Take your files wherever you go
Sony’s new external solid state drives have an ultra-compact body that can be best compared with a credit card, allowing you to take your data in your pocket wherever you go. Combining the solid state technology with a hairline finished aluminium casing makes the SL-BG2 & SL-BG1 incredibly robust. This case helps to minimise possible damage from vibration, shock and heat thus contributing to the longevity of the product, while giving the storage media device a premium look with a clean and stylish design.
Ultra-fast data transfer with SSD & USB 3.0
With the use of SSD the SL-BG1 and SL-BG2 are accessible instantly. Boasting high speed transfer rates of a minimum 290MB/s in reading mode through a USB 3.0 connection.
