Lite-On Introduces eSEU206 Portable 6x Blu-ray Combo Drive
Optical storage innovator Lite-On announces today the introduction of their first external slim Blu-ray drive: eSEU206. The eSEU206 is a highly portable USB powered Blu-ray COMBO drive that can read Blu-ray discs at 6x speed. The eSEU206 can write DVD- and CD media at 8x speed and 24x speed respectively.

At only 350 grams the ultra-light eSEU206 Blu-ray COMBO is the perfectly portable drive, making High-Definition Blu-ray movies available wherever you are. With its 145mm x 155mm dimensions and mere 21mm at its thickest, the drive will fit into any bag or briefcase. Conveniently powered by USB 2.0 the drive needs no additional power adapter making it the perfect travel companion for movie lovers.
Optimized for smooth Blu-ray playback the drive brings high-definition movies to laptop PCs thanks to a full Cyberlink PowerDVD software suite supporting 3D playback. Today, CDRLabs brings you a review of LG's portable 6x Blu-ray Disc rewriter, the BP06LU10. This new Super Multi Blue drive is capable of 6x BD-R, 6x BD-R DL and 2x BD-RE writing speeds and a maximum BD-ROM read speed of 6x.
