Mushkin Announces SDHC And microSD Cards

Mushkin Class 10 SDHC cards are compliant with the SD Association specification and guarantee and minimum data transfer rate of 10MBs per second for stutter-free operation with high-definition camcorders and cameras. Mushkin Class 4 microSDHC products transfer data at a minimum rate of 4MB/s and are the ideal solution for mobile phones and tablets.

CDRLabs kicks off the week with a review of Kingston's second generation USB 3.0 flash drive, the DataTraveler Ultimate 3.0 Generation 2. While similar in appearance to the original DataTraveler Ultimate 3.0, this new drive uses a native USB 3.0 controller which offers better performance and power management. The DataTraveler Ultimate 3.0 G2 is capable of reading at 100 MB/s and writing at 70 MB/s. It is also backwards compatible with USB 2.0 and can be powered completely off a computer's USB bus without the need for additional cables.
