I'm researching now trying to decide on a replacement for my dying Liteon 20A1H and came up to CDRLABS to read some reviews, but am confused in that I can't figure out how to find the reviews the way they used to be organized, which was a very ez webpage with sections organized by Manufacturer with links in each one for particular models.

wow, Wow, Wow this place has gone in tremendous transformation and is shinier that many places and sites, Congratulation Ian and to all those who they did it and deserve credit for it. It is nice to be home after so long and see everything look beautiful.

Socheat and I are currently in the process of upgrading the forum to phpBB3. Most, if not all, of the forum's current features should make their way over to phpBB3. As long as I have to hack PHP, I wanted to see if there are any other features that people would like to see.

I may be a bit anal about this, but I like to keep track of these exchanges, even if they're not public.

The reviews here are excellentbut why isn't there a way to see like "Top ten DVD writers" or something, based on the out-of-10 score they get in the reviews.
My situation is simply that I want to buy a new DVD burner and I'd like to know what the best ones are. Actually all of the product reviews should be sortable on rating, best to worst.
Or is this already possible and I'm just ...

Maybe I'm just blind, but does CDRLabs have a news submit anywhere? Maybe try to avoid things like this :wink: :P

I've noticed lately that if I don't open all of the forums/posts with new messages almost immediately (opening tabs like crazy), that the forum marks everything as read and the links just say "No new posts since your last visit" if I click on the "view new posts" icons next to certain threads.

Today, it happened almost instantaneously, that only the first 3-4 posts I opened showed new posts, and everything else did the "No ...
