Anyone deal with them yet ?

I've just ordered 200 TY discs for $28 USD per 100 & 10 dvd +RW discs Ritek.

Total was $105 Canadian. Shipping and taxes included (shipped to a US address to avoid the Canadian tax on cd-r's).

That's damn good by Canadian standards. The TY discs work out to about .35 cents each.

I've been trying to get the latest firmware for my LDW-411S drive and Lite-On's IT website takes forever to load on my cable modem. Is there a better place or mirror site where I can find the latest Lite-On bios upgrades??

I have a TV Wonder Pro, and I am getting;
static, noise, and horizontal lines in my picture. I checked thier FAQ and that said to check the cables, OK, sounds good, tried the ones going to my normal TV which has a perfect picture, no go, tried buying $50 Monster Cables, no good. So thier support is closed on the weekends, oh well, it's the holidays, it's a weekend, OK, I'll wait until Monday ...

What have they done to newegg?!?!? :cry: I like the old interface more

This is it. My package from newegg has been sitting at my local Express Hub, and they won't deliver it because it's not scheduled until tomorrow. OK, no big deal, it's only 5 minutes away, I'll go and pick it up, right? Wrong. I can't even pick up the package because it isn't scheduled until tomorrow. This is terrible that they won't allow a customer to take advantage of the fact that his package has ...

Blu-Ray increases DVD's from 4.7Gigs to 25Gigs by physically
changing the size of pits. (I'm not going to go into piles of details).

HD-DVD leaves everything as is but increases DVD's up to 20Gigs
by using new compression. (Again, not going into details)

Why can't we all get along and just combine both technologies and
end up with a 45 to 50 gig capacity?

I bought a "120 GB" Maxtor hard drive with a 8 mb cache and it only has 114 GB.
I also bought a "120" GB Seagate with 8 mb cache, 111 GB actual size.
Why dont hard drive companies say that it's really a 115 or 110 GB hard drive, i mean they were off by 6-9 gigs!! :evil:

I dont think that it is right. All that they did was make the link open in Internet Explorer, even if they have some other browser as default. I mean, the smaller companies can do that but not microsoft? It bugs me when people are looking for things to get after others for. I mean it's just a lousy 1 KB shortcut.

Liquids we do have but they are drop shippment so once that we order
them to
send to customer we have nothing to do with those cases anymore because
we
don't have any parts for that case here at our location ...
