It is available in two versions of the SoftRAID engine for Mac users, one with RAID 0 and RAID 1 modes along with disk certification and drive monitoring, and one with support for RAID 0, RAID 1, RAID 4, RAID 5, and RAID 1+0. Windows users can create simple (striped), two-way mirrored, or parity storage spaces directly in Windows 7, 8, or 10.

The OWC Mercury Elite Pro Quad will act as the follow-on to the OWC Mercury Elite Pro Qx2. The Mercury Elite Pro Quad 4-bay external storage device is now available at MacSales.com and authorized OWC resellers.
