VSO Software releases today a new major version of ConvertXtoDVD, a program that converts and burns videos to DVD. Version 5 interface has been totally redesigned and now offers a live preview, giving users total control over their projects as they see their modifications in real time and can check image quality, audio/subtitle synchronization, etc.
“The preview will surprise many users as it’s a totally new way to use the software, with full customization available”, explains Jacques Vignoles, ConvertXtoDVD main developer and VSO Software CEO. He adds: “Now that you can see and edit things live before converting, you just can’t go wrong”.
Version 5 offers much-awaited video editing features, such as the possibility to remove unwanted parts of the video, control over brightness and contrast, video rotation, the ability to embed subtitles into the video and more menu editing options. Users will also find that they can now easily convert their camcorder, DVD and Blu-ray files with the added discriminator and the support of multi-angle films.
On the technical side, the new engine makes conversions faster and provides enhanced quality with better processing of videos and audio, improved multi-core support and introduces hardware decoding as well as simultaneous conversions for projects with multiple files.
