Built-in redundancy to minimize business down time: The RS3614xs was designed to keep businesses in motion. It’s built with a mixture of passive and active cooling. The redundant power variant, the RS3614RPxs features dual hot-swappable power supplies to withstand failure of a power-circuit or power supply.

Four gigabit NICs comprise the default network configuration for LAG, Load Balancing, and Failover. Throughput can be enhanced with two PCIe Gen3 x8 expansion slots; making it possible to add dual 10Gb ethernet cards to support a total of 4x10GbE. Additionally, the DSM offers high availability, which helps to protect against downtime with active/passive server clustering.
