addlink Launches S91 Series M.2 2230 PCIe Gen4x4 SSD
addlink Technology Co., Ltd, a global leader in digital storage solutions, has announced the release of its S91 series, a lineup of M.2 2230 PCIe Gen4x4 SSD designed for small mobile devices, including select models from Valve Steam Deck, Microsoft Surface, and popular laptop/tablet brands with 2230/2242 PCIe NVMe drives.
Small form factor M.2 2230 PCIe Gen4x4 Storage Solution for Small Mobile Devices
The S91 SSD is a small form factor M.2 2230 PCIe Gen4x4 storage solution designed for small mobile devices, such as Ultrabooks, laptops, tablets, and gaming devices. It boasts a PCIe Gen4x4 interface, delivering fast performance with sequential read speeds of up to 5000MB/s for the latest Intel and AMD platforms while still complying with PCIe Gen3 standards. With a height of only 2.15mm, all components of the S91 2230 SSD must be on one side to fit into small form factor mobile devices.
Faster, More Reliable, and Longer-Lasting Storage Solution
The addlink S91 SSD employs a new PCIe Gen4 SSD controller to achieve high-speed transmission, while working within limited space. The new controller incorporates an SLC caching feature and supports a host memory buffer (HMB), enabling the SSD to achieve even higher performance by utilizing the memory resources of the host. Additionally, the S91 SSD utilizes the latest in LDPC ECC, wear leveling, bad block management, and over-provisioning technology to ensure data accuracy and extend the drive's lifespan.

Today, CDRLabs brings you a review of Crucial's DDR5-5200 and 5600 desktop memory. Available in 8, 16 and 32GB densities, the DDR5-5200 memory can transfer data up to 1.63x faster and deliver up to 1.97x more bandwidth than DDR4, resulting in shorter load times, file transfers, downloads, lag time and improved refresh rates. Crucial's DDR5-5600 memory is available in additional densities and offers faster bandwidth and data rates. Both memory types also support Intel XMP 3.0 and AMD EXPO and feature voltage regulation on the module through a power management integrated circuit (PMIC) for better power regulation and increased efficiency.
