News of CD-R/CD-RW Drives

I went to best buy and bought a 48x digital research expecting a lite on and there was a 52x24x52 in the box and a note saying thansk /free upgrade yadda yadda. ANyways, the drive is a benq and I dont have a clue what seamless link is beaing as all ive ever owned are yamaha and lite on burners.

Any info on this thing out there?

I picked up the 4320B DVD/CD-RW combo a week or two back, and am getting really frustrated with CDs burnt with it. I've tried all the different speeds thinking they might be the problem, but no matter what I do, files burnt with my new drive will inevitably have some tiny error thrown into them - usually more than once.

Some divx movies I've burnt will give Media Player (or any other viewer) an I/O ...

Just downloaded the smart burn program from the LiteOnIt site and when I run it, my drive is visible. But when I click on the button to test media, it just returns the following in RED....

Just purchased a LiteON LTR-52246S CD-RW, but I have a few questions relating to this drive and burning in general. Im pretty new to the burning world, previously I had a TEAC W54E CD-RW which could not write in RAW DAO so I couldnt back up any games, plus it was only 4x MAX!

Hey guys, I have an LG GCE-8481B that has problems burning at full speed on SmartBuy 48x CD-R's. I previously had no problems with a spindle of Pine 48x, where I was getting used to write times ~2.5 min for an 80 min CD (I mostly burn full length VCDs). However whenever I try these SmartBuy ones Nero says it's burning at 48x but it takes ~5.5 min. I tried upgrading my firmware from 1.02 ...

In this next PDF document they claim that the digital audio output is it's knockdown feature.
Some say that it is why this new drive should be better at burning audio than other writers since it implements that feature.

Is there any truth in such asseveration?
If not, what are the feature's benefits to the overall performance of the drive?
