Nero has announced that they will be previewing the newest version of the Nero 7 software suite at CeBIT. Among other things, this new version features an Electronic Program Guide, surround sound recording and playback and built in internet telephony.

Roxio has announced the release of their Blu-ray Disc Technology Preview Kit. Here's part of their press release:

If you're heading to CeBIT, you might want to stop at the booth for InterVideo and Ulead as the two companies will be demonstrating their latest Blu-ray authoring, burning, navigation and playback software.

Ulead has announced a new version of their DVD MovieFactory software. According to their press release, DVD MovieFactory 5 is the first consumer disc authoring software to support high-definition video discs.

CyberLink has announced that they've expanded their product range for next-generation disc burning with the release of PowerBackup and InstantBurn.
Following the successful demonstrations with leading Blu-ray Disc and HD DVD partners at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, CyberLink has released archiving software PowerBackup 2.5 and packet-writing solution InstantBurn 5. The announcement adds to CyberLink's recent retail release of data burning solution Power2Go 5.

"Next-generation disc formats Blu-ray Disc and HD DVD significantly increase the amount of data that users can store to disc, including content such as high-definition video," said Alice H.
